Extreme Science: Putting Newton's laws of motion to the test
Newton's three laws of motion can be summarized as:
- An object at rest remains at rest, or an object in motion remains in motion, unless acted upon by a force. (Inertia)
- Force equals mass multiplied by acceleration. (F= m*a)
- For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. (F₁=F₂)
If that jargon is making you dizzy, don't worry! Rick and Cory are putting their own spin on them with a few practical demonstrations!
