| In January 2001 the State of Connecticut established Transportation Strategy Board and five (5) Transportation Investment Areas. The Coastal Corridor Transportation Investment Area (CCTIA) includes six (6) planning regions and 56 municipalities with a half of states population 1,778,348. |
